About the Role
Service Stream's Telecommunications division is currently seeking a Lead - Land Access, Stakeholder & Community Engagement (LASCE) to join our growing company. The LASCE Lead supports the LASCE coordinators to ensure that all projects are undertaken in compliance with the company's legal obligations under relevant Commonwealth and State Legislation, including the Telecommunications Act 1997.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Collins Street, VIC (Head Office) or alternative
Reporting Line: Manager – Land Access, Stakeholder & Community Engagement (LASCE)
Key Responsibilities
Support LASCE Manager, Project teams and client to create and execute Community and Stakeholder engagement plans.
Support LASCE Manager with reporting and governance tasks as required internally and by the client.
Support LASCE Manager with system and process enhancements including team quality assessments and process adherence.
Support LASCE Coordinators with day-to-day tasks and manage escalations as received.
Action tasks in prescribed project and customer relationship management software within designated time frames.
Effective communication is a large aspect of this role.
Escalate to and manage external consultants when statutory approvals are assessed to be required.
Issue project legal documents to stakeholders and assess legal and contractual requirements.
Regularly liaise with internal and external stakeholders, Councils and other government bodies and authorities.
Liaise internally with Regions and Construction teams to streamline works and apply mitigation strategies.
About You
Land Access Community and/or Stakeholder engagement desirable.
Courteous stakeholder communications skills.
Have/acquire knowledge of business software, database/project management systems and Microsoft Office.
Project/Construction/Environmental background/experience.
Creating communications material experience desirable.
Previous experience with Telecommunications/Construction Access Compliance Procedures/Planning procedures is highly desirable.
