About the Role Are you an excellent communicator proficient in land contract negotiation?
Located at our Brisbane office, the Land Access Adviser role encompasses leading and contributing to negotiations for land access contracts on behalf of the Onshore Development Business. You will contribute to crafting and executing the negotiation strategy, and conducting discussions with landholders and their legal representatives. Given the diverse aspects of land access negotiations, this role requires understanding of negotiation, contracts, project management and stakeholder management. While previous experience is beneficial, this role is also a great opportunity for someone newer to the field to learn and grow in these areas.
Key Accountabilities: Negotiations Develop Negotiation Schedule that aligns with the appropriate Santos Board and Partners Investment Decisions approvals.Project Management Contribute to providing Land Access intelligence for Santos Sub-surface and Field Development Teams to quantify access risk and opportunity.Contract Management Drafting and Finalising Land Access Agreements that comply with the relevant Acts and Contract Law.Participate in Mediations including Alternate Dispute Resolution, where complex and multi-dimensional Negotiations exist.Stakeholder Management Building and maintaining strong business partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.*** Ad hoc field travel is necessary for this role. About You To be successful in this role, we are seeking a professional with strong communication skills and demonstrated experience in the following:
High proficiency in Land Access, Contract Law, Petroleum Construction, Land Valuation, Agriculture Practice and Stakeholder Management.High proficiency in Negotiation capabilities including the ability to influence outcomes.Mediation and Dispute Resolution with ability to help resolve conflicts.Strong Business planning skills including high attention to detail, prioritisation and managing critical path milestones.Strong computing skills and the ability to effectively utilise support systems.Ideally, you hold relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Business, or relevant area.
