Labourpower is currently seeking Materials Handlers with counterbalance forklift experience for food packaging manufacturing roles based in Braeside. As a Materials Handler, you will be required to gather materials to feed machines in production and supply them to operators inside the site's clean room area. The role will also include counterbalance forklift operation for stock retrieval and movement around the facility. Other duties may include labeling and general stores duties.
Successful applicants should have: A valid LF Forklift licence, with at least 6 months operating experienceExperience moving large quantities of stock around a warehousePrevious food manufacturing experience is advantageousBe available to start immediatelyThe confidence and ability to work unsupervised when neededThe ability to load and unload trucks and containers with a forkliftGood understanding of GMP & HACCPAll required PPE – including steel capped boots and high visibility clothingA valid driver's licence and own vehicleThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting all OH&S regulationsFull work rights with 5 days availability on Day or Afternoon shiftOn offer: Multiple roles available:
