About The RoleBand 4 - salary range $88,641 - $125,141 per annum (plus Super)An exciting opportunity exists in the Network Operations team for a Distribution Systems Coordinator.Located at Lenah Valley in Hobart's Northern Suburbs, this role will ensure that all work within their designation is coordinated in the most efficient, commercial, and safe manner.This is an office-based role that will provide approvals to Network Access Orders, ensuring correct isolation points are selected and impacted customers are notified as per the National Electricity Consumer Forum (NECF) guideline prior to safely accessing TasNetworks Distribution System for planned outages. This role will successively progress to support the 24/7 Distribution Control Room after successful completion of necessary trainings and authorisations.You will monitor, coordinate, and plan the most efficient and safe delivery method while placing particular focus on eliminating any NECF (Type 1 and Type 3) breach to customers, confirming all isolation points provide safety for employees, contractors, members of the public, and apparatus.To comply with all relevant legislation, laws, regulations, standards, codes, and TasNetworks' policies and procedures to provide safe and secure network access to undertake planned capital and operational work in TasNetworks' distribution system.About YouAnticipate and be responsive to the distribution system user's requirement identification and registration of system deficiencies and advance knowledge of power system safety rules.You Will HaveA-grade Electrical Trade qualificationsCurrent or recent experience in the high-level operation of a power distribution systemElectrical practitioners' qualification and/or a minimum of two years' experience in mobile workforce scheduling and coordinationDemonstrated high-level knowledge of Geospatial (GIS) tools (e.g., NetMaps), SCADA, Microsoft Office package, SAPSelf-motivated and able to work in a team environmentWhat's on offerThis is a permanent full-time opportunity, offering a healthy remuneration and benefits package.
