About the Opportunity Council is seeking an experienced Labourer to join their Parks and Recreation team, who will undertake of a range of horticultural duties as directed including the maintenance of Council's park assets and the operation of horticultural plant and equipment.
This position is based in Dalby.
Reporting to the Parks and Recreation Supervisor, you will: Operate of a range of horticultural plant and equipment in Councils parks, gardens and cemeteries; As part of the Parks and Open Space team, carry out maintenance to park assets.
About yourself The successful applicant will have: Demonstrated ability to operate relevant horticultural plant/and or equipment including ride on mowers and brush cutters; Demonstrated competence/experience in amenity horticulture; A current Queensland C Class Licence.
"MR" licence (Preferred or willing to obtain); and An OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card.
This role is full time, working 38 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO.
