This is a permanent part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025Mount Barker Community College (MBCC) is a proud Independent Public School with a long history of strong community connections and success for our students.

We promote a friendly, welcoming environment to ensure our school is a great place to be.Find out more about our school by visiting or The RoleAs a Laboratory Technician, you will provide support to teaching staff in preparing routine chemicals and equipment, as well as constructing simple apparatus for science classes, under supervision.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Key responsibilities include ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and performing basic repairs and maintenance on scientific equipment.
Experience in labelling and storing laboratory chemicals and resources, along with knowledge of proper disposal methods for chemical, physical, and biological materials, will be highly valued.The successful applicant should have initiative, good interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as exceptional organisational skills.
