NATA accredited for DNA extraction, pharmacogenomics, and nutrigenomics testing.Leading center of excellence for pharmacogenomics in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.Leading provider of nutrigenomics testing across Australia and New Zealand.Trusted partner for many of Australia's leading pathology companies and cancer hospitals across Australia.Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the laboratory's operation and testing, ensuring a high-quality diagnostic service for our clients.Oversee financial resources, staff development, and implementation of laboratory procedures.Perform and interpret a wide range of medical laboratory tests, including pharmacogenomics, nutrigenomics, DNA extraction, and other genetic analyses.Develop and implement new laboratory procedures and tests, maintaining our leading-edge approach.Oversee NATA accreditation and implement rigorous quality control and assurance measures.Provide technical and scientific support to other laboratory staff.Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant medical diagnostic laboratory setting.One of the following:Fellowship of the Human Genetics Society of Australasia (FHGSA) in biochemical genetics, cytogenetics, or molecular genetics.Fellowship of the Faculty of Science of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FCPath).ORDoctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in a field relevant to the laboratory's diagnostic testing.Experience with NATA accreditation (e.g., ISO 15189 training).Proven experience in supervising and training laboratory staff.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new laboratory procedures and tests.Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical laboratory testing principles and procedures.Experience with a wide range of laboratory equipment and software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Application Questions: How many years' experience do you have as a Laboratory Manager?Do you have experience working in a NATA accredited laboratory?How many years' experience do you have in a quality control (QC) role?How many years' experience do you have as a PhD Scholar? #J-18808-Ljbffr
