About the Opportunity:

The Faculty of Science and Technology is seeking a proactive Laboratory Assistant to its vibrant collegial team. In this role you will support and contribute to the work of the National eDNA Reference Centre (NRC) at the University of Canberra.
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory practice and safety.
Key responsibilities include –
Assisting with the analyses of samples, and the completion of genetic data analysis.
Reporting results to the Project Leader and Project Team.
Contributing as part of a team to efficiently complete projects.
Assisting with general cleaning of laboratory facilities as required.
