Our state-of-the-art laboratory is at the heart of our operations, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our soil analyses are conducted with precision, accuracy, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Sample Preparation: Receive, log, and prepare soil samples for analysis. Conduct Tests: Perform a variety of soil tests, including but not limited to pH, nutrient profiling, microbial assessments, and moisture content. Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all laboratory equipment is calibrated, functional, and clean. Report any malfunctions or discrepancies to the Laboratory Manager. Data Recording: Accurately record test results and ensure that data is entered into our digital system in a timely manner. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest techniques and advancements in soil analysis. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Soil Science, Agronomy, or a related field. Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.
