The Opportunity As part of the Financial Control team within La Trobe Financial, this role has primary responsibility for the monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual management financial reporting. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing support across all internal management reporting, as well as assisting with the Group statutory reporting, including the preparation of the half year and full year annual report, as required.
The role is ideally suited to a senior accountant working within the Financial Services industry, with exposure to management reporting, budgeting and forecasting. The candidate will have a demonstrated attention to detail and a strong track record in delivering high quality work, in accordance with the reporting deadlines set.
Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management reporting, including monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting and shareholder reporting Preparation of high-quality presentations, supporting analysis and strategic insights for management Assisting with monthly group statutory reporting, including legal entity control Assisting with half-year and full-year financial results reporting, and liaising with the auditors to resolve any queries Acting as a key point of contact for the Group Management Reporting and assisting the business with ad-hoc and recurring requests Quarterly Board and Committee Reporting, including assisting in the preparation of accounting technical and position papers, which relate to Group Finance Assisting with group finance projects as required About You Chartered Accountant/CPA, or working towards. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role with Financial Services Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Strong computer literacy skills, including advanced excel, word and PowerPoint skills.
