The Role: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced L2 RN to join our team in the peri-operative, anaesthetic, recovery, and day ward areas.  Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead, mentor, and coordinate clinical practices while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Perks of the role: Full or Part Time Only day work required (no weekends)Two-week shutdown Christmas/New Year periodLunch providedFriendly team environmentOpportunity for growth within specialist fieldKey Responsibilities: Serve as a second-in-charge of the facility, supporting the Director of Nursing.Coordinate infection control, education, staff rosters, and other critical clinical functions.Provide leadership and clinical expertise in peri-operative, anaesthetic, and recovery care.Mentor and guide new staff, including overseeing the New Graduate program.Maintain and manage inventory and stock control to ensure efficient resource utilisation.Lead quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and protocols.Ensure the highest level of patient care across all clinical areas.Collaborate with the team to provide a safe, supportive, and efficient work environment.Essential Criteria: Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia registration.Tertiary Nursing Qualifications or a recognised Nursing Certificate.Perioperative Certificate or equivalent operating room experience, Anaesthetic Certificate or equivalent experience, and Post Anaesthetic Care Certificate or equivalent recovery experience.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable with a focus on patient care.Why Join Us?
