Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of expertise in Business Intelligence development, with a strong focus on Power BI, complex SQL queries, and Azure Data Factory. This role demands an individual with excellent communication skills, who can effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to the business. SQL Query Writing: Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring high performance and accuracy. Azure Data Factory: Develop and manage data pipelines in Azure Data Factory, orchestrating data movement and transformation between various sources. Data Modeling: Design and implement robust data models that support business requirements and improve data retrieval efficiency. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources and systems, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and availability. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide insights, and ensure BI solutions align with business needs. Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance issues in BI tools, SQL queries, and data pipelines to ensure optimal performance. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for BI solutions, including data models, data flows, and technical specifications. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence development, with a strong focus on Power BI, SQL, and Azure Data Factory.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices. Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, including data pipeline creation, management, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
