We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to oversee and support the refuge services team. Your role will include supporting and mentoring refuge practitioners, managing the day-to-day operations of the refuge properties, and ensuring high-quality care and support for our clients.
Location: Shepparton VIC Employment Type: Full Time Ongoing Salary Level: SCHADS Level 6 Skills & Abilities: Leading and supporting refuge practitioners in providing comprehensive care to clients within the refuge properties. Managing 4 properties as part of your caseload. Working closely with clients who are in refuge, helping them on their journey to rebuild their lives. Engaging with external stakeholders through meetings and networking to enhance service delivery and client outcomes. Providing case management for clients. Providing supervision and support to a team of practitioners. Duties & Responsibilities: A degree in Social Work or an equivalent qualification is required. (Minimum standard: Recommendation 289). MARAM Training. Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred, though strong leadership potential without a formal Team Leader background will also be considered. Critical thinking and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practice. Experience in a refuge or similar setting. Ability to adapt and be moulded into the role. Why work with KLC?
