The Role The Kites Program Assistant at Amana Living is responsible for supporting the Group Activity Managers in planning day trips, as well as assessing the suitability of both existing and potential venues to ensure they meet client needs and safety requirements.
This role is being offered as a Full time 6 month fixed-term contract working 8am to 4pm, 76 hours per fortnight from our Head Office in Subiaco.
Key responsibilities: Planning: Assist the Group Activity Manager with the Kites Program and Shopper Bus Service quarterly planning in collaboration with the Kites CSWs, to be completed a month before the start of each quarterCoordinate and book morning tea and lunch venues for the planned day trips well in advanceLiaise with Kites Workers regularly and periodically attend their staff meetings to maintain their ongoing involvement and collaboration with the Kites Program planningAdministrative Assistance: Prepare CHSP Welcome Packs and Home Care FilesAssist with purchasing and ordering Kites supplies / equipmentSupport with compliance including vehicle and cleaning auditsAssist with scheduling of client activity in the scheduling system as requiredProvide relief support with day-to-day operations, annual reviews, and other administrative duties where requiredSafety: Conduct risk assessments of current venues destinations used in the Kites Program and Shopper Bus Service to ensure ongoing suitability and safety for Amana Living clientsCollaborate with the Group Activity Managers to schedule off site risk assessments, ensuring an Amana Living fleet vehicle is available to useRelationship Management: Periodically accompany Kites and Shopper Bus Workers with their client groups as to obtain client face-to-face feedbackComplete day trip surveys with clients to gather feedback and ideas of day trip destinations, assessing these ideas and incorporating them within the Kites Program planner where appropriateMaintain existing stakeholder relationships and build new contacts to support the Kites Program and Shopper Bus ServiceRequirements: Evidence of COVID-19 and Current 2024 Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policiesAbility to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checksWestern Australian C Class Driver's LicenseExperience and knowledge in Occupational Health and SafetyExperience in planning and organising trips and eventsIntermediate computer literacy, with experience using Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Office and Excel.How to apply If you are interested in this role and meet the essential criteria, please click the "apply now" button.
