Kitchen Porter - Craigclowan Nursery & Prep SchoolPerthThe only independent school in Perth, Scotland set in a beautiful campus located on the outskirts of the 'Fair City' with easy access to the road network from all directions. We are a small co-educational school that offers an outstanding education to students from age 3 to 13. We offer a core feeding for lunchtime for just over 100 students and 54 members of staff, with occasional hospitality events. This is a Term-Time Only role and the location benefits from free onsite parking.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at Craigclowan Nursery & Prepatory school inPerth. You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.
The working pattern is Monday to Friday from 8am to 3.30pm / 35 hours per week including a 30 minute unpaid break.
Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantageGreat team playerBe able to help the Chefs with some food prepEnsure high standards of cleanliness at all timesClean and maintain all kitchen equipmentClean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.Operate industrial dishwasherWe are looking for: Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.Organisation Skills.Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferredWider wallet scheme (discounts at major retailers, restaurants, gyms etc).
