Responsibilities: Assisting with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables.Cleaning dishes, kitchen equipment, and maintaining hygiene standards.Organizing storage areas and keeping stock organized.Assisting with the disposal of waste and ensuring cleanliness in all kitchen areas.Skills and Qualifications: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Basic understanding of food hygiene practices.Positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.Commis Chef (Level 3) The Commis Chef will assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs, with opportunities to develop culinary skills.
Responsibilities: Preparing ingredients, including meat, seafood, and vegetables, and helping with cooking as required.Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.Assisting senior chefs with kitchen organization and inventory.Skills and Qualifications: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (preferred).Ability to follow recipes and directions from senior chefs.Good communication skills and team spirit.Passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.Pay Rate Kitchen Hand: Based on Fair Work Level 2Commis Chef: Based on Fair Work Level 3
