The ideal candidate should have a passion for baking, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to follow recipes with precision.Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but not necessary._Responsibilities of the role include_:* *Assist in Pastry Production:* Support the production team in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries.* *Ingredient Preparation:* Assist with measuring, weighing, and preparing ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.* *Maintain Cleanliness:* Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas.* *Follow Food Safety Standards:* Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.* *Assist with Inventory:* Help monitor inventory levels, assist with stock rotation, and notify management of ingredient needs as necessary.* *Collaborate with Team:* Work closely with bakers and other team members to execute orders efficiently and meet production deadlines._Suitable applicants should have a vibrant personality as well as:_* Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.* Positive attitude, willingness to learn.* Hold a food handling certificate and have a good knowledge of HACCP and OH & S proceduresYour excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with your team, will guarantee your success in this role.Bring your love for customer service to Ritchies.
