As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing new applications and/or enhancements for our Android platform using Android Studio. Your role will involve developing scalable and efficient Android-based apps and enhancements and ensuring the stability and security of the overall architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs while adhering to best practices.
Mandatory Requirement Government Clearance : Ability to obtain and maintain baseline government or NV-1 clearance.
Citizenship Requirement : Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this role.
5+ years of experience in Android development using Android Studio. Proven software development experience and Android skills development. Experience with Android SDK. Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Hands-on experience working within agile development environments. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail, along with an ability to resolve technical issues. Desired Attributes and Skills: Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. Experience working in government or public sector environments.
