The Project: Dematic is delivering a state-of-the-art warehouse and logistics automation project for one of Dematic's global blue-chip clients with a project value in the mid-billion AUD. This major project contains 80,000 sqm of automated storage and retrieval systems (conveyer, racking, robotics) and will be executed from 2024 to 2028. Dematic will deliver the automation fit-out from in-house design (mechanical, electrical, controls and software) to completion, including installation, commissioning and testing to handover.

Tasks and Qualifications: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES This is a permanent role responsible for looking after a number of large-scale warehouse and distribution centre projects across the APAC region, starting with the project outlined above. Key responsibilities:
Coordination of all activities associated with the assigned project/s from the receipt of a customer order to the completion of the project Liaising with relevant internal teams and external parties to ensure the project is completed on time, within the agreed budget and to the agreed functionality Managing the project reporting, revenue collection and cash flow planning Managing resourcing and staff planning, including coordination of sub-contractors Develop strong customer relationships to understand their needs and provide recommendations based on their business and operational environments Communicating with all relevant stakeholders at each stage of the project life cycle ABOUT YOU – WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related business field Proven experience 2-5 years in construction and/or installation for large scale, complex projects Knowledge of construction or installation processes, materials, and methods Strong knowledge of construction industry regulations Excellent negotiation and communication skills and stakeholder management Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities Proficient in financial controlling software and Microsoft Office suite Strong understanding of financial outcomes and ability to meet critical deadlines An attractive salary package is on offer and the chance to work with a progressive and innovative company experiencing high growth and the chance to work on major projects.
