Looking after our Broome and Cone Bay Barramundi operations, the position of Site Manager/Senior Manager - Barramundi plays a crucial role in the effective planning and management of our barramundi operations across both sites – farming (Cone Bay) and hatchery (Broome).

About the role Duties include:
Oversee and manage day-to-day farming operations, including liaising with nursery production. Develop and implement best-practice protocols for fish health, water quality management, and biosecurity. Lead and supervise the team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies. Monitor and report on Farm performance, including growth rates, survival rates, and production targets. Manage inventory and procurement of supplies and equipment. Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. Travelling and working at the Cone Bay farm site a minimum 4 nights per fortnight. Roster: 5/2 over the week. About you To succeed in this role, you will utilise your hands-on operational experience and relationships to lead the team, be proactive and relentless in pursuing safety improvements and drive commercial focus for market competitiveness. In addition to the above, you will be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience in Aquaculture management or operational role in Aquaculture. Strong understanding of fish husbandry and performance related criteria. Excellent leadership and organisational skills. Problem solving comes second nature. Proficient in reporting, communicating and driving improvements. Strong background in leadership and people management with the clear ability to effectively lead a team in a diverse environment. Must have full working rights in Australia.
