Your Role & Team The Key Account team focuses on Creditor Watch's biggest and best B2 B customers with $250m + annual turnover. The Key Account function is a focused area of growth and investment for the business. The team includes business development and account management. The Key Account Sales Manager is required to oversee and manage the team focused on outbound activity, pipeline generation, and monthly recurring revenue targets. This is generated from new business and upsell/cross-sell to existing customers. In this role, you'll be fully responsible for the team's sales performance, including strategic segment planning, relevant territory reviews, pipeline funnel management, forecasting, and team development. This role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and is a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions based out of our Sydney CBD office. Some of your responsibilities include: Deliver a hands-on management style and take ownership of the Key Account budgeted line item and growth of the team. Focus on the strategic growth of the segment with one eye on short-term growth and another on a multi-year plan. Create a winning culture and an enviable sales team within the business. Setup the standards and processes required for the sales team. Support the team with day-to-day sales performance, including prospecting, calling and client meeting KPIs. Review pipeline to ensure time and effort are spent on the right areas. Liaise with marketing to maximize digital and event spending and lead allocation. Forecast monthly recurring revenue for the team and track your commitments. Help shape the team's development plan and identify training requirements. Build relationships with the top 35 Key Account Customers. Our ideal candidate To be successful in the role, you'll ideally have worked within a sales leadership role for at least 3+ years, successfully managing, coaching and developing a high performing team. You need to be resilient, ambitious and nurturing in your approach. Further, you will have strong exposure to working a sales opportunity and lead qualification funnel. You'll be hungry and ambitious to win. Your communication, problem-solving and attention to detail skills will come second to none.
