Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a Key Account Manager in Australia who will develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, national key accounts, and buying groups, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention to drive business growth. This role involves securing product placements for new launches, managing customer contracts, monitoring sales targets, conducting market analysis, and providing regular updates to the National Sales Manager. The Key Account Manager will leverage data and analytical tools to develop insights and strategies, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities You will act as the primary point of contact for Wholesalers, National Key Accounts and Buying Groups for DRLA (Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Australia). You will provide a monthly activity summary to the National Sales Manager (NSM). You will be responsible for developing a solid working relationship with key stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and customer retention. You will be responsible for establishing the baseline customer satisfaction survey and providing quarterly updates to the NSM for identifying key stakeholder groups. You will be responsible for new product launches, including securing ranging for all niche product launches. You will be accountable for wholesaler ranging, group acceptance and store positioning of NPD (New Product Development). You will also provide monthly updates to the DRLA leadership team. You will be responsible for developing procedures/processes for establishment of customer contracts with Key Account and Buying Groups to ensure DRLA products are purchased by their members. You will be responsible for conducting a monthly analysis of the pharmacy chain's sales to ensure they are in alignment with the targets. You will develop and implement solutions to address any decrease in sales and provide a monthly summary to the NSM. You will be responsible for conducting market analysis of competitors to ensure timely response to market changes. You will leverage data and analytical tools (such as Pharmatrack, IQVIA, IRi, Etc.) to develop new insights. You will also provide inputs to retailer category strategy. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the customer database to ensure information is captured effectively. Qualifications
Educational qualification: Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business or a related discipline
Minimum work experience: 5+ Years of experience in the pharmacy industry in Key Account Management
Skills & attributes: Good understanding of the Retail Pharmaceutical Market, Wholesalers, National and State Key Accounts and Buying Groups. Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word). Australian citizen or permanent resident with valid Australian driver's license. Additional Information
