We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Administration Officer to join our team.Position Overview :As an Administration Officer in our Early Childhood and Care Service, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, ensuring the efficient management of financial transactions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and assisting in the delivery of high-quality services to children, families, and staff.
You will work closely with the management team to maintain records, manage communications, and handle various office tasks.Key Responsibilities :Manage and maintain accurate records for children, staff, and families.Provide administrative support to the director and team, including managing emails and phone inquiries.Assist with billing, invoicing, and financial record-keeping.Process enrolments and applications for children attending the service.Handle communication with parents and guardians, ensuring timely and accurate information.Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.Assist in preparing reports, newsletters, and other documents.Assist in budget preparation, financial reporting, and forecasting.Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards.Provide general office support, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.Skills and Qualifications :Certificate III or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or a related field) is preferred, but not essential.Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational or childcare setting.Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
