In this role you will conduct comprehensive initial assessments, developing individualised exercise programs, monitoring client progress and making adjustments to their programs as needed, providing high quality practice to ensure optimal person-centred outcomes. Additionally, you will work across various sites within the Geelong employment region, requiring some travel to deliver support where it's most needed, ensuring a seamless service across all client touchpoints.
Part of this role will assist job seekers to reach their goals through holistic healthcare, lifestyle modification and vocational guidance, empowering them to have a better quality of life.
Your main responsibilities will include: Work with individuals on a one-to-one basis and in groups to support those experiencing physical health and or wellbeing concerns. Conducting a range of assessments including functional capacity evaluation, musculoskeletal and fitness, worksite and ergonomic. Delivering psycho-educational, work conditioning, manual handling, chronic pain management and strengthening group-based programs. About You Our ideal Physical Health & Wellbeing Consultant will have: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physiotherapy or relevant qualifications in Exercise Physiology. Current AHPRA registration or ESSA registration as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based and best practice therapeutic approaches. Possess exceptional organisational abilities to facilitate the prioritisation and effective management of key duties. You will need the following prior commencement: Current NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance. Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate of completion.
