About the Business Unit: The North West Metropolitan Area (NWMA) accounts for approximately 1800 staff across 21 sites, delivering a range of services including custodial services at prisons, Community Correctional Services, Youth Justice Services, and management of community services.
About the Role: The Justice Officer role is to deliver friendly, efficient customer service to clients of the Department of Justice and Regulation, as well as providing consistent, timely and accurate administrative support to regional locations and staff.
Key Responsibilities: Providing a range of high quality and efficient front of house administrative services, such as Consumer Affairs or Births, Deaths and Marriages enquiries and applications.Providing information and assistance to clients, internal and external stakeholders and the public.Providing reception and telephone responses for the location.The position is based at the Derrimut Community Work Service Centre. However, it is an expectation of the role that the successful applicant is willing to support at other locations across either the North Metro. A driver's license is preferred but not essential.
