About the Business Unit: The North West Metropolitan Area (NWMA) accounts for approximately 1800 staff across 21 sites, delivering a range of services including custodial services, Community Correctional Services, Youth Justice Services, and more. About the Role: The Justice Officer is a position in the Corporate Governance and Support team with the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS), North West Metropolitan Area (NWMA). The role is to deliver efficient customer service and accurate administrative support to regional locations and staff. The position is based at the Werribee Justice Service Centre, with the expectation of supporting other locations across the North Metro. A driver's license is preferred but not essential. Key Responsibilities: Providing high-quality front-of-house administrative services, such as Consumer Affairs or Births, Deaths and Marriages enquiries and applications. Providing information and assistance to clients, stakeholders, and the public, including the processing of applications. Providing reception and telephone responses for the location. About You: As our ideal candidate, you will possess: The ability to produce a range of standard written documents, providing clear information appropriate to the audience. The ability to assess the audience and provide appropriately-tailored information and explanations.
