The Principal Portfolio Advisor is responsible for the development and integration of P3 capability across CAT and expert support and consultancy for the portfolio of programs and projects. This role will be required to provide project management, and governance advice and support to a range of CAT stakeholders on various project related topics.

Job duration: Until 30 June 2025 with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver advisory services to enhance the portfolio, program, and project (P3) management frameworks and capability within CAT, including development of tools and templates; training, coaching, and facilitation of workshops for project teams; and delivering consultation and evaluation support services. Provide practical advice and support to key stakeholders in applying the CAT P3 processes and relevant frameworks to support development, approval, and implementation of new initiatives. Evaluate project initiation documents and oversee the process for CAT executive review and approval of new projects and programs. Develop and maintain strong professional relationships and networks, including interdepartmental and interagency stakeholders, leveraging opportunities to uplift P3 capability within CAT. Coordinate and contribute to the delivery of the strategic and operational responsibilities of CAT GPO including, but not limited to, implementation and ongoing support of governance frameworks, compliance, and secretariat services. Collaborate closely with the Strategy & Risk, and Change & Benefits teams within CAT GPO on a variety of strategic initiatives. Deliver portfolio analyst functions and responsibilities, and other tasks or duties as directed.
