Our client is a leading commercial HVAC provider in Southeast Queensland, specialising in fit out and refurbishment projects up to $5 million. With a strong team, they take on innovative projects and provide a supportive environment and training for professional development and growth within the business. Renowned for delivering projects consistently and reliability in the industry, raising standards and attracting repeat clients. 
You'll be surprised at the diverse portfolio of projects that will cross your desk, from commercial fitouts within entertainment venues to heath services and specialised aged care facilities.

About The Role
As a Junior Project Manager, you'll oversee smaller HVAC projects, ensuring timely execution and quality standards. You'll coordinate with the team, manage client communications, and assist in planning and budgeting. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and hands-on experience in the HVAC industry while working in a close-knit and supportive team of 15 people.

This role would suit either a qualified trades person who has been operating in a site supervision role and is looking to step up to Project Manager.

Or an engineering professional within the HVAC space looking to explore the construction side of project management.

Key Responsibilities Oversee smaller works HVAC projects from start to finish. Coordinate with team and subcontractors for seamless execution. Communicate with clients to capture needs and provide updates. Assist in planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Monitor timelines and budgets for adherence. Prepare and maintain project documentation. Conduct site visits to assess progress and quality. Resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Support senior project management as needed. Foster a collaborative team environment. Skills and Experiences Trade or tertiary qualified (advantage) Previous experience in site supervision, project administration or a site coordination role, preferably in construction or HVAC. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions. Basic understanding of project management principles and budgeting. Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software. Eagerness to learn and grow within the project management field.
