The Role:
We're looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers on a variety of projects ranging in value from $500K to $10M. These projects span across hospitality, healthcare, and commercial fitouts, giving you a broad and exciting portfolio to work with.
Key responsibilities include:
Contract Administration: Assist in managing contracts and related documentation to ensure compliance and smooth project execution. Project Scheduling: Support the creation and monitoring of project timelines to ensure deadlines are met. Coordination: Communicate with subcontractors, architects, and clients to keep projects on track. Site Management: Oversee on-site activities, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to and quality standards are maintained. Project Financials: Help manage project budgets, including tracking costs and reviewing financials.
You'll be guided by an experienced team, helping you develop the skills needed to progress into senior management roles.
Qualifications & Experience:
We're looking for a candidate who has:
A degree in construction/engineering, or a trade background with the desire to transition into management. At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry, including contract administration, with exposure to projects up to $20M. Familiarity with financial accounting systems and project software tools. Strong communication skills and an eye for detail. A proven track record working with a recognized builder or contractor.
