The opportunity:
We are on the lookout for a Junior Planner to join our team supporting our Footwear Myer Concesions! Reporting directly to the Head of Planning, this role is responsible for the planning and forecasting of all stock requirements, ensuring the successful procurement and allocation of stock that results in balanced assortments and stock-levels in stores to achieve (and exceed) sales budgets, margins and manage stock levels.
Key duties and responsibilities: Allocating and management of stock replenishment across our Myer Concessions for FootwearMaintaining Range Plans, Forecast files and Buy filesProposing promotions and markdown plansWork with retail team on new store range plansBuild and maintain relationships with stores and DC TeamsEnsure inventory levels are kept within set KPIs and 'tail' managed accordinglyContribute to in-season & post-seasonal meetings with quality analysis on sales trends, profitability, product life cycle, pricing, sizing, product attributes and to use this information to compile product and assortment plans inclusive of brand, category, gender, age group, options, quantities, and any other attribute required to ensure a balanced assortment is planned upfrontEnsure an elevated level of attention to detail is provided in all admin tasks to ensure accuracyThe skills and experience you offer us: Approximately 1-2 years' experience in an allocations or planning roleIndustry and business understandingIntermediate to Advanced Excel SkillsFinancial analysis & interpretationCommercial analysis and interpretationStrong communication/interpersonal skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and decision-making skillsNegotiation SkillsAbility to work under pressure and resilienceProven ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team as well as autonomouslyAP21 experience preferred but not essentialThe perks we offer you: Pet friendly workspace - yes, you can bring your dog to work!Generous discounts for you and your family across Brand Collective's stable of brands!
