What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?Life at Deloitte is high-tempo and impactful – there is no typical day!
You may start the day working on key alliance and sponsorship agreements, advise stakeholders on third party vendor arrangements, help Deloitte navigate nuanced legal issues in building new assets and end the day advising stakeholders on complex contractual issues in cross-jurisdictional licence arrangements.As part of the OGC team, you will be part of an inclusive, supportive and experienced team that service a wide portfolio within the new products and services and alliances space.
Working closely with senior commercial leaders, you will assist in navigating and delivering on complex commercial challenges, such as alliances, resellers and third party vendor arrangements that are integral to Deloitte's innovation and success.We are committed to always learning.
You will contribute to precedent and practice management, team development and may assist in various exciting projects (including implementation of AI based legal tools) on which the team is working.
Enough About Us, Let's Talk About You.You will be an intellectually curious and driven lawyer with a minimum of 1 - 3 years' PQE in commercial contracting, gained within a major law firm, a leading organisation or professional services firm.This role is perfect for a self-starter, looking to develop their contracting skills and keen to support a business with bold growth plans.
We are looking for someone with: A keen interest and understanding and demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating third party arrangements such as, alliances, resellers, sponsorships, events, supply and licencing agreements.
The ability to manage end to end contracting process from initial business advice, through to review, drafting and negotiation.
Strong foundation of core legal concepts in commercial law and ability to apply those concepts in a professional services context.
Strong analytical skills with a high level of strategic thinking to craft elegant solutions to complex problems.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle a high volume of matters, across all areas of the firm.
Strong empathy and an ability to build relationships at all levels of the business, to support problem solving and informed decision making.
Ability to work both as part of a team as well as independently where required.
Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills with a high attention to detail.
A positive, energetic and collaborative mindset who will thrive in a highly agile and geographically dispersed team.
