About the Role We are currently seeking a Junior / Graduate Lawyer, or an experienced Paralegal / Conveyancer, to join our team in Somersby. Under the guidance and mentorship of the General Counsel, you will be responsible for:
Preparing & reviewing basic legal documentsConducting legal researchAssisting with the preparation of adviceFile review and managementActing as point of contact with key stakeholdersOther duties as required to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the legal department and business as a wholeAbout you To be successful in this role you will have:
Either experience as a paralegal, conveyancer or a law degreeKnowledge of legal professional and ethical responsibilities relating to client confidentiality and conflicts of interestStrong written skills, excellent computer skills including familiarity with MS applications and Leap legal softwareSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyAbility to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the businessExperience in one or more of the following fields would be highly advantageous:
