Junior Data Analyst (Excel Specialist)

Role Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst with a strong foundation in Microsoft Excel to join our (team/department). The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, performing data analysis, and utilizing Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and PivotTables to create meaningful insights.Key Responsibilities:Collect, organize, and analyze data to support business operations and decision-making.Use Excel tools (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables) to manipulate, clean, and summarize data.Generate reports and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all deliverables.Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand data requirements.Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights from datasets.Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis as needed.Required Skills & Experience:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data validation.A strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.Basic understanding of data cleaning and data integrity principles.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with additional Excel tools (e.g., Power Query, Macros) is a plus.Exposure to other data tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Tableau (advantageous but not required).Understanding of basic statistical concepts.Education:Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience).
