ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role as the Junior Creative Designer, you will support the Senior Creative Designer in undertaking conceptual graphic and digital design activities relating to seasonal, promotional and in-house marketing content in accordance with brand directives and guidelines. Key areas of responsibility include:
Support and assist the Senior Creative Designer on monthly conceptual campaign development and creation of overview deck (print and digital)
Support and assist the Senior Creative Designer and Creative Manager in global conceptual design of campaigns, promotions, and sales as required to ensure all creative is consistent, highly polished, and on brand
Collaborate with Senior Creative leads to develop and create dynamic engaging visuals and edit motion graphics, videos, and animations for web, social media, and presentations.
Collaborate with Senior Creative leads to roll out conceptual campaigns to print and digital design studios
Support with additional items and workload where required
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in graphic/digital design would be advantageous
Experience working within brand guidelines and creating new concepts that still align to the brand's DNA
Proficiency with creative design programs Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects).
Experience with visual and interaction design tools (Figma).
Skills in creating animated designs would be highly advantageous.
Knowledge of UX/UI fundamentals experience highly regarded
Exceptional design skills, eye for content quality, creative typographic and crafting skills
Knowledge of design fundamentals and principles
Is highly effective in interpreting briefs and delivering and executing creative concepts
Excellent creative and artistic presentation skills
Thrives in a collaborative team environment
Results driven and ability to multitask
Ability to work effectively and level-headed under pressure in a fast-paced and agile environment
Receptive and responsive to constructive feedback
Ability to demonstrate initiative and effectively plan and be proactive in all facets of the role
Demonstrate effective interpersonal, communication and networking abilities
Experience with fashion/retail brands desirable and a passion for the fashion industry a must.
Tertiary level design qualification
Effective time management skills and ability to manage your workflow
