Junior Change Coordinator

Location Canberra/Australian Capital Territory
Security Clearance Required for this role: * Must have at least Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance, NV2 preferred. * Must be an Australian Citizen * Mon to Fri - office hours Working from our Canberra client site, you'll collaborate closely with a small team to ensure seamless implementation of changes and releases, adhering to strict Defence policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare changes to meet operational requirements. * Coordinate changes effectively across multiple vendors. * Conduct governance activities in alignment with change and release processes. * Ensure strict adherence to Defence change and release policies. * Facilitate change reviews and approvals. * Manage the forward schedule of change, mitigating scheduling conflicts. * Identify and implement Continuous Service Improvements. * Commit to adhering to Defence delivery methods and outcomes. Secondary Role Functions: * Support incident, problem, and service request fulfillment processes. Essential Criteria: * Self-motivated with a drive to achieve deliverables and positive outcomes. * Excellent presentation, engagement, and communication skills (written and verbal). * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team with minimal supervision. Highly Desirable Skills and Experience: * ITIL V3 or V4 certification or understanding of ITIL processes. * Understanding of how change and release management processes integrate with other ITIL processes. * Familiarity with Defence ITSM processes. * Hands-on experience with Service Manager or other service management tools.
