Executive Director - Canberra / Sydney

Our client, a registered NFP focused on encouraging science in schools to inspire a new generation of scientists & researchers who can advance scientific research and solve problems that will lead us all to a better tomorrow is seeking a full time Executive Director to be based in either Sydney or Canberra. The successful applicant will have a relevant degree, or equivalent experience, and a proven record of collaboration & securing funds through multiple income streams to realise impact driven visions. Key responsibilities include: Lead the organisation Establish a strong partnership with the Board Ensure inspiring & effective management Drive organisational impact Support growth through proactive business development Stakeholder management (Federal & State Government, Education, Commercial Sectors, Philanthropic, etc) Key requirements include: Growth mindset Strong organisational skills Entrepreneurial approach Partnership Building Compelling communicator This is an excellent opportunity to have a huge impact on the future of science education in Australia. This role is paying $120K + Super + NFP salary packaging. (Commercially equivalent salary of approximately $132K). There is plenty of opportunity to increase salary with success.
