We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Junior Account Manager to join our growing sales team in the beautiful Scenic Rim.
About Kalfresh Kalfresh is an innovative, fast-growing Queensland horticultural company, focused on farming, processing and marketing fresh conventional and certified organic vegetables across Australia and select export markets. Our head office is situated in Kalbar, just one-hour's drive from Brisbane, in the beautiful Scenic Rim.
The Opportunity Reporting to the Category Manager for Beans & Corn, you will play a key role in our growth strategy, linking customer's needs with our capabilities ensuring seamless and efficient supply chain. You will be instrumental in translating customer needs into actionable strategies, enhancing both our service delivery and market presence.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our expanding sales team to put your passion, sales spirit and market knowledge to work. Supporting our sales, production, Ag and logistics teams, you will work as an effective member in managing information flow, driving sales and developing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities Include: Provide support and communicate supply information daily with key customers across our products from both the Kalfresh and Vee Jays-Kalfresh production bases. Work with our customers category and buying teams to manage program updates, provide timely quotations, and address supply issues promptly. Engage daily with agents to assess market prices, tracking trends, and evaluate overall supply conditions. Update sales projections and crop forecasts to accurately reflect customer demand. Prepare reports for the sales and management team. Monitor grower return KPIs and report weekly. Support the Category Manager across projects as required. About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience working in a sales environment or similar position. We would also consider recent university graduates eager to work in the horticulture industry. Enthusiastic, motivated, and authentic with a commitment to excellent customer service. Strong organisational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills. Capable of working independently and collaboratively. Proficient in Microsoft applications. A proactive approach to finding solutions and maintaining composure under pressure. Tertiary education in Business, Agribusiness, or related field would be highly regarded. This is a permanent full-time position based in our Kalbar office.
