Melwood Joinery is looking for a Project Manager to join our family. We are an energetic company with a modern culture full of enjoyment and a positive atmosphere. We are rapidly becoming a prime selection and key player within the commercial construction and fit out space so opportunity and potential for growth has never been higher. Our manufacturing hub is based in Braeside and the role will be part office based and part site based. You will have full support from our Operations Manager & our other Project Manager.
Melwood specialises in commercial joinery focusing on schools & office fit outs. We are proud of the work we provide to such key sectors of society and would hope our new team member would carry the same outlook.
Melwood Joinery was born 3 years ago and has already made a big bang as a major player within its market. With a great team full of years of industry experience, we are looking for the newest Melwood family member to be part of a fast growing company, bringing hunger and drive to contribute to its success.
What you'll be doing Oversee approx 6 projects ranging from $100k - $600k simultaneously Coordinate and oversee all aspects of joinery projects, from design to installation Ensure client satisfaction is held at high priority at all times Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle Collaborate with the design team to ensure project specifications are met Provide leadership and mentorship to the joinery install team Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards What we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience as a Joinery Project Manager or in a similar role Proven track record of successfully delivering complex joinery projects Ability to work under the pressure of fast project timeframes Excellent project management and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Proficient in project management software and tools Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Relevant qualifications in Carpentry, Joinery or a related field Why join Melwood Joinery?
