About this Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technician who will lead our Fire industry team due to continued growth within the region. This role entails Operations, Contracts, and Account Management.
Your Responsibilities:
• Hands-on leadership of the field team to achieve operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Drive operational excellence
• Manage customer accounts and business development
• Support the Service Team Manager with asset management
• Collaborate with the Account Manager for monthly reporting and forecasted expenses
• Approve time sheets, purchase orders, change orders, and credits
• Review work programs for accuracy, adequacy, and feasibility
• Manage sub-contractors
• Prepare quotes and review/approve technician quotes
• Develop people through training and development of Technicians
What We Are Looking For:
• A Degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School with relevant industry fire trade license and five years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• People management experience
• Proven management skills in achieving results, including financial, goal setting, planning, and review
• Strong technical subject matter expertise to foster credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment
• Customer orientation
• Sound commercial and business acumen
• Excellent negotiating skills with WIN/WIN outcomes
• Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communication skills both in writing and verbally
