We are seeking individuals with a background in Employment Services or Disability Employment interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector across Port Macquarie NSW area.
As a Job Placement Consultant, you will support people living with illness, disability, or injury to return to work or obtain new employment.
You Will Undertake a Variety Of Activities Including: Collaborating with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce;Working with varied client groups for diversity in your workday and caseload;Contributing to injured workers' ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development and promoting independence;Delivering customer service in employment services and job placement;Empowering clients to effectively present their skills when seeking employment;Brokering new employment or work experience opportunities in remote areas;Building strong relationships with local employers and organisations;Assisting in developing Labour Market Research reports and vocational programs supporting return to work outcomes.Qualifications
As a successful Job Placement Consultant, you will possess:
A passion for Employment Services or Disability Employment, with experience in employment services, case management, or disability employment being advantageous;Drive, energy, professionalism, and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations;Flexible work hours: part-time (3-4 days) and full-time opportunities available;Strong verbal and written communication skills;Excellent time management skills, able to work autonomously and within a team;Administrative skills, competent with MS Office and MS Outlook;Confidence and initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes;Bilingual/multilingual is desirable (e.g., Arabic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Farsi, Hindi);Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain);Current driver licence, roadworthy motor vehicle, and comprehensive insurance; some travel may be expected;Welcoming candidates working towards a tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology with an interest in Occupational Rehabilitation.Additional Information
