Help people living with illness, disability, or injury return to work or obtain new employment and live the best life they can!Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce;Contribute to injured workers' ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building, and promoting independence;Apply and deliver customer service in employment services and job placement;Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment;Broker new employment opportunities in the Melbourne Metropolitan area and surrounds, which in turn provide a swift re-engagement into employment for workers who have been detached from the workplace due to a workplace injury (physical and/or psychological);Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations;Complete written progress and various other reports on a regular basis.Qualifications
Experience in Occupational and/or Vocational Rehabilitation is highly desirablePrevious experience in Employment Services / Disability Employment as a high performerStrong resume writing skills with an understanding of the local labour market;A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers;The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers;Current driver license and motor vehicle.New team members are matched up with a buddy and enjoy comprehensive induction and employee assistance programs combined with ongoing workplace mentoring.
