Associate Director - Accounting/Financial Planning | Brisbane | $200k Exclusive to Jenner Recruitment, our client is looking for an Associate Director to work hand in hand at driving the firm's growth and revenue as well as running the production and client service departments.

The Role Reporting to the Director, this high-level and senior position will play a pivotal role in driving the firm's growth and revenue. You will be a strategic thinker who can identify business opportunities and has the capacity to eventually grow into the strategic coaching advisory space. In addition, your role will have a strong emphasis on reviewing production systems, processes, and client services for all clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing production systems, processes, and client services. Cross-selling and upselling to existing clients. Mentoring Client Managers on techniques to increase service adoption. Growing new clients in both the Annual package and other internal packages available to clients. Overseeing the development, maintenance, and management of new client leads. Leading efforts to acquire new clients through targeted marketing. Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvements. Providing leadership and mentoring to the accounting team. Conducting professional and personal development staff evaluations. Strategic planning with high-level skills in forecasting and modeling. Interstate and intrastate travel for client appointments. Other duties as required. This role offers future partnership opportunities, providing a clear pathway for your career advancement.
About You You will be a forward-thinking and self-motivated Associate Director or Finance professional who has worked in a similar environment and is committed to assisting the business, clients, and the team to reach their full potential.
In order to be considered for this position, you will require the following:
At least 8+ years in business services including taxation and financial reporting in a Public Practice environment, with possible exposure to FBT, Div 7A, CGT, and BAS. Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting with a CA qualification. Financial planning qualifications would be highly regarded. A keen business sense and small business savvy. Proven experience in managing a team. Experience with the following systems: Business Fitness, Microsoft Dynamics, Xero, Xero PM, NowInfinity, and Class will be highly regarded. Proactive in dealing with clients and able to think outside of the box. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and the ability to analyze data for accuracy, errors, and discrepancies. An understanding of the role of Financial Planning as part of the overall offering to clients.
