About the role
The Senior Branch Manager is a pivotal leadership role within the Community Bank team, critical to the building of a strong, inclusive, dynamic and productive local Community Bank business being commercially focused and community spirited. Accountable for multiple Community Bank branches delivering tailored financial solutions for our customers.
This role has significant people, commercial and operational responsibility and accountabilities that will contribute and ensure a sustainable, commercially viable local Community Bank. This requires active management of the company profit and loss, cost to income ratio and overall growth.
Participation in your local community initiatives is an expectation of the position where travel, weekend work or work out of hours may be required on occasion.
This position is located at Community Bank Port Lincoln. The role is full time.
For those considering relocation, the company will cover up to $4000 in relocation costs. Port Lincoln is a beautiful coastal town in regional South Australia, Approx 8 hours drive from Adelaide. Please ensure you research the area before submitting your application.
Key responsibilities include:

Build and execute an effective strategic plan for your area across multi customer channels
Read and interpret financial reports to effectively manage the branch costs and income to achieve operating profit growth
Collaborate with branch leaders to establish an effective sales operating rhythm to achieve set targets and grow business performance
Establish and nurture business networks to build the branch profile in your local community and create an effective referrer network
Listen and learn from formal and informal customer feedback to continue to build and improve our connection with our customers
Embed operational and risk management practices through regular and clear communication on requirements

About you

Proven experience to build a strategic plan for the market
Strong communication skills to deliver clear branch expectations
Proven sales leadership through implementing strategy to drive business
Strong relationship management with ability to effectively network and engage with your community and partners
People leadership with the ability to develop, coach and manage staff performance
Understanding of financial management, business acumen and risk framework
Banking experience with a background in residential and commercial lending
Ability to analyse and understand financial reports and statements
Effective and influential presentation and public speaking skills
