Java Developer

Our customer is a leading financial services company dedicated to providing innovative and reliable Insurance Premium Funding solutions. They are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Java Developer to bring their business solutions to life!Roles and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and interpret business requirements to develop applications.Create, update and maintain applications developed for the organization.Document applications developed to maintain the application.Improve/optimize code implementation and system performance.Integrate other systems and API to meet the business requirements.Verify and unit test applications developed to ensure high-quality delivery.Action and resolve advanced requests/incidents logged via the Service Desk for support with regards to applications.Communicate about any tasks or activities assigned.Interact and work with team members on the delivery of any tasks or activities.Ability to work autonomously on tasks assigned.Qualifications and Experience:2+ years of experience in software development.IT qualification, either a University Degree or Diploma within the IT realm.Efficient and Knowledge in Java, Angular/React and Javascript/Typescript.Worked with front-end technologies such as Bootstrap, jQuery and Angular/React.In-depth knowledge of developing REST API's Fluent in SQL and creating data structures.Extensive knowledge and experience in working in analysis, design and development in a software environment.Expertise in system integration with other API's and services.Advantage to know other technologies or back ends or exposure to micro-services.***Full working rights – Must be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident***#J-18808-Ljbffr
