An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated, experienced General Manager to be a key part of the future success of the Bundaberg RSL Club.
Enjoy living and being connected to the community which forms part of the Southern Great Barrier Reef tourist region.
The Club facilities are being refurbished and include a restaurant, café, sports bar, function rooms, TAB, Keno and 80 gaming machines.
The General Manager will be responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of the licensed venue.
The General Manager will be employed by the management company and will receive support covering HR, marketing, operations, administration and strategic planning.
The ideal applicant will need to demonstrate the following:
Strong leadership and communication skills with all stakeholder groups Ability to develop, motivate and manage a successful team Proven experience in driving revenue with effective sales and marketing whilst maintaining KPIs Sound knowledge of food, beverage, functions, gaming operations, marketing, loyalty activities and legislative requirements Experience with managing renovations, maintenance and repairs Management experience in comparable sized hospitality operations, in particular licensed clubs and hotels with gaming operations Hold relevant gaming and liquor licensing certificates An attractive salary package will be offered to the successful applicant.
