IT Systems Administrator - Toowoomba or BrisbaneWe are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our Head Office team in Toowoomba or site location in Brisbane.This is an integral member of the IT Infrastructure Team and responsible for providing Systems Administration and support for the Wagners server fleet and system infrastructure.We are looking for a qualified and self-motivated team member who demonstrates an enthusiasm for IT and management of physical, virtual, on premises and cloud-based servers and systems.
Reporting to the Group IT Manager your role will include:Install, configure, support and maintain Wagners servers and general infrastructureProvide support for inhouse and cloud-based server infrastructureAssess and maintain system and data securityResearch, design and implement new solutions and/or improve efficiencies of current systemsAssist with installation and integration of new network hardware and applicationsMonitor server performance, analyses, diagnose and test weaknesses to resolve issuesMaintain Office365/Microsoft365 and Azure IaaS/SaaS and associated servicesLiaise with external solution providers to ensure efficient design and implementation of new systemsInvestigating faults and issues, reporting status to key stakeholdersDesign and maintain system backups and ensure data security and disaster recoverabilitySupport and administer third-party applicationsAct as an escalation point for network and general IT helpdesk issuesAbout YouRelevant qualifications in Information TechnologyDemonstrated experience in investigative, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to show understanding and patience when communicating with technology usersAbility to plan, prioritize work to ensure logged requests and deadlines are metAttention to detail and time management skillsAbout UsWagners produces a wide variety of construction materials serving Australian and International building and construction industries.
