We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our IT Team.
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager this 'hands on' role will be responsible for providing management, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of systems to assure operational availability.
About the role: Proactively manage and monitor IT infrastructure to maintain optimal availability, reliability, capacity, performance and uptimeProvide infrastructure performance statistics and reports, develop strategies for maintaining infrastructureParticipate in projects as required.Ensure company backup and disaster recovery plans are in place within company RTO, RPORegular testing and validationManage the day-to-day execution of cyber security incidents and program of works and facilitate engagement with management in embedding security in decision making across the business.Provide IT technical support for applications, infrastructure, cloud, network and mobilitySuccessful resolution of IT Requests, and BAU Change RequestsProvide technical direction and assistance to staff in the resolution of technical issuesIdentify Service ImprovementsWork collaboratively with the IT group to continually maintain and evolve technical documentationAbout you: Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory2+ years' experience in systems administration and supportSolid, hands on, experience in IT infrastructure technologies, including cloud (Microsoft Azure and 365), network, server hardware and software, storage systems, backup, and virtualisation technologiesSound ability to identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, escalate and resolve issues in the shortest time frameAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyYour extra primer could be: Experience in a retail and/or manufacturing environment would be highly regardedBenefits 50% off retail price of Haymes Paint manufactured products, including friends and family discounts6% Medibank Corporate discount20% New Balance discountHybrid working arrangementsOngoing training and supportAccess to a range of workplace health and wellbeing initiativesProfessional development opportunitiesFrom our humble beginnings in 1935,Haymes Painthas grown to become Australia's largest Australian made and owned manufacturer of premium brandpaints, finishes, and protective coatings.
