Networks & Systems Administration (Information & Communication Technology) Full time We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT System Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day IT infrastructure, supporting network operations, and ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient system performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining high system availability.
Key Responsibilities: Network & System Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related infrastructure components. Ensure optimal system performance, manage backups, and implement disaster recovery protocols.Security & Compliance: Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities, implement regular updates and patches, and enforce compliance with internal policies and external standards.User Support: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for end-user issues on PCs, servers, and other devices. Address software and hardware inquiries, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and provide timely solutions.System Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and execute upgrades, monitor system performance, and perform routine maintenance to improve reliability and performance.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, network diagrams, and incident logs. Prepare regular reports on system health, user activity, and IT assets.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand IT needs, support new technology implementations, and assist with onboarding and training new users on IT resources.Requirements: Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows/Linux operating systems, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and experience with virtualization technologies. Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure) and cybersecurity best practices is preferred.Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of handling unexpected IT issues and finding quick, effective solutions to minimize downtime.Your application will include the following questions:
