The role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to provide both remote and onsite IT support to a wide range of customers. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, and be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues, as well as maintaining and supporting various IT systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities: Provide remote and onsite IT support to clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, including desktop, laptop, server, and peripheral devices.Perform installations, configurations, and upgrades of IT equipment and software.Maintain and support IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and cloud services.Collaborate with customers to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions.Document all support activities, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.Assist in IT projects, such as system migrations, deployments, and upgrades.Educate and train customers on best practices and the use of technology.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery. Qualifications: Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role.Must have knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Server administration, Active Directory and Storage Solutions.Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS environments.Must have knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining hardware (PCs, laptops, printers) and software.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first attitude.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional).Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
