This wouldn't be possible withoutgreat people - people just like you. An exciting opportunity exists foran IT Support Officer to join the Information Technology team atDalrymple Bay Coal Terminal. The role works within the BusinessImprovement Unit and represents the first point of contact for DBCTP/L employees experiencing problems with IT hardware, systems andprocesses. Working as part of the IT team in a collaborativemanner, you will contribute to the team's core objective ofproviding high quality IT support and consulting services to thebroader Company.
What we are looking for:
Someone who is proactive and possesses excellentorganisational skills to coordinate IT service supportrequirements.Provision of first level help desk triaging and effectivelyprioritise, respond, and escalate incidents and requests in abusy enterprise environment.Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technicalissues and problems.Maintain accurate records of problems and solutions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and in a teamenvironment.Someone who takes pride in the quality of their workand shows a strong attention to detail.Ability to translate complex technical information into acomprehensible format.Ideally you will have:
Knowledge and understanding of a Windows Server/Workstationenvironment, Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange,Virtualisation Technologies, TCP/IP fundamentals.Experience managing user access permissions and privilegeseffectively.An understanding of contemporary information securitystandards and best practices.A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, orexperience in a similar role.Just some of our attractiveemployee benefits include:
